Your smile should show the confidence you have in yourself. There are many procedures that can be done to help you create that dream smile.

Crowns & Bridgework:

Crowns: Crowns are responsible for strengthening damaged teeth by applying a covering over the visible portion of the tooth. The process usually takes two to three visits. The tooth will first be prepared for the new crown. This involves shaping it to fit inside the new covering. Once the tooth is prepared, impressions will be taken and sent to the lab where models will be made.

Bridgework: A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and ‘bridges’ the gap where one or more teeth used to be. Bridges can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and are attached to surrounding teeth with crowns for support.

Porcelain Veneers:

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells designed to cover the front side of the teeth. They are an option for correcting stained, chipped, decayed or crooked teeth.

Bonding:

According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, tooth bonding is most useful for repairing chipped teeth. The bonding materials allow for a finished product that closely matches your surrounding teeth. As always, it is important to take extra good care of those bonded teeth. Be sure to brush and floss daily.

Teeth Whitening:

Brushing and flossing are routine ways to keep your teeth bright, white and healthy. Still, if you feel like your smile might be lacking some sparkle or is more yellow than it used to be, you’re not alone. The American Association of Orthodontists found that nearly 90% of patients requested tooth whitening. If you are a candidate for whitening, here are your options.

Whitening Toothpastes
All toothpastes help remove surface stains through the action of mild abrasives that scrub the teeth.  Look for the ADA Seal for safe whitening toothpastes that have special chemicals or polishing agents to provide additional stain removal effectiveness. Unlike bleaches, these types of ADA Accepted products do not change the color of teeth because they can only remove stains on the surface.

At-Home Bleaching
A custom bleaching tray will be fabricated to your mouth. Peroxide-containing whiteners actually bleach the tooth enamel. You will receive small syringes that are filled with the gel whitening material and will be instructed to fill the custom tray that fits your teeth.

Some people who use teeth whiteners may experience tooth sensitivity, which is, under most circumstances, both normal and temporary.

Implants:

Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth and are designed to blend in with your other teeth. They are an excellent, long-term option for restoring your smile. In fact, the development and use of implants is one of the biggest advances in dentistry in the past 40 years.

Dental implants are made of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body. The implants are posts that are surgically placed in the upper or lower jaw, where they function as a sturdy anchor for replacement teeth.

Our dentists will help you through the tooth replacement process in an educational and effective way. When given proper care, dental implants can last for decades.

Invisalign & Invisalign Teen / Teeth Straightening:

Invisalign is a great option for those who qualify. Invisalign allows us to perfect your teeth without it being visible to others. Removable, custom-fit trays will be created, fitted and explained. The Invisalign process will help to move your teeth, correct the bit and give you the beautiful smile that you deserve.

Your aligners should be worn as often as possible and are only removed for brushing, flossing and eating. It is important to only remove the trays when absolutely necessary.

It is crucial that you clean your trays well. It is a simple process of removing the tray and using your tooth brush to clean them with warm water. Brushing your teeth after every snack or meal is also necessary to avoid food particles getting stuck inside the trays.

Invisalign can be used to straighten your teeth and improve your bite at any age. It is also a great adjunct prior to general dental or cosmetic work. Invisalign (prior to dental work) will get your teeth in the correct place before the placement of a crown, bridge or implant. This ensures the best possible outcome and appearance for you.

You deserve a smile that you are proud of!
